Double plates
The jumping bite appliance has lower plate and un upper plate.In the lower plate there is a mandibular expansion screw with a mounting pattern for that adjustment of an inclined plane.
On the upper plate is also an expansion screw with two bars,which is forcing the retruded mandible forward to obtain normal occlusion and normal bite.
In the same time of protruding the lower jaw in Class I,it is possible to expand lower jaw and upper jaw. Construction bite should be taken incisaly into a class I.
It is possible to built in all necessary wire elements in the appliances.
Sander III appliance is a functional appliance,because the forces transfered to the maxila and mandible are only produced by the masticatory muscules.By the incorporation of a memory screw in the maxila,a fast transverse bodily expansion can be achived especialy in young patients without a rapid maxilary expansion being necessary.The desired retrusion can be adjusted step by step by means of the two screws in the mandible.The children can only be treated effectively when they get such a Sander III appliance early .That means before the age of nine..
The Sander III appliance has two Class III double plate‐ screws in the mandible which are placed in the lingual section of the first molar. It is possible to built in all necessary wire elements in the appliances.
TWIN block modification by Dr. Geserick is consist from two appliances with special screws which are built in upper bite blocks.The Bite jumping screw of Dr Geserick for the Twinblock appliances will be placed in the upper part of the appliances for correction of class II.
It is possible to built in all necessary wire elements in the appliances and screws in the middle.
Construction bite should be taken in polu –drugoj class.Result of the screws activation is class I
